Admissions offices from U.S. boarding schools usually associate Chinese students from any "foreign language" schools to have higher proficiency in English. Your son needs to improve in that area and hopefully will result in higher TOEFL and SSAT scores - critical components for admissions. I would also suggest that if you send your son to U.S., he should be a boarder instead of with a host family.。
