In the restaurant
Leo and Jerry’s restaurant was begun in 1998. It is a very good restaurant. Today Leo and Jerry want to have lunch at this restaurant to check the waiter and waitress’ work. There are four scenes as follows:
Scene 1:
Waiter: Welcome to Leo and Jerry’s restaurant, wish you enjoy your meal and have a good time!
Leo and Jerry: Thanks!
Scene 2:
Waiter: What would you like?
Leo: What do you recommend?
Waiter: Well, I think, in our restaurant, roast chicken and the red wine are very popular. Many customers always order them. Would you like to try?
Jerry: Of course, roast chicken please!
Leo: Well, I will have the steak, medium.
Waiter: How about the drink? Would you like the red wine?
Jerry: sure, red wine.
Leo: I’d like beer.
Waiter: Ok! I will get everything for you!
Leo and Jerry: Thank you!
Scene 3:
The food and drinks are on the table. They smell very good and the drinks are very good too. Leo and Jerry are very happy and enjoy their meal.
After a little time…
Waiter: Do you have some advices for us?
Leo and Jerry: No, everything is very good! Thank you!
Scene 4:
Leo and Jerry finish the food and go to the counter.
Waitress: How about the meal?
Leo and Jerry: Very good! And how much is it?
Waitress: 40yuan.
Leo: Here you are.
Waitress: Thanks and welcome back!
Leo and Jerry are very satisfied with their waiter and waitress. So they decide to give them some prize.
妈妈的话：这是儿子课外班上老师布置的一篇场景作文，儿子英语不错，但能在短短半小时的时间里写出这么一个场景，我还是有点吃惊的。看来，学英语还是要认定坚持的道理了！
